Built as a direct extension of their live shows, “HAI” is a punk techno/ electronic track with a strong Balkan folklore influence. Beneath the high-energy rhythm, the track carries a simple, almost fun message: step outside, reconnect and touch some grass =)
Sung in romanian, the track was first performed live as a pre-release during EVE+POL’s showcase at ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) in January 2026. The immediate, crowd reaction confirmed the song’s energy and its ability to connect beyond language or genre boundaries, something central to the duo’s approach. “HAI” music video was filmed in Amsterdam, a city chosen as a symbol of freedom, little chaos, and creative contrast. It mirrors both the spirit of the song and the duo’s personalities.
Founded in 2024, EVE+POL have quickly become one of the most visible new live electronic acts in the region. In 2025, they reached #1 on Radio Guerilla with “LIKE THAT” and have performed as a opening act for Yousuke Youkumatsu at Electric Castle, and Die Antwoord at Arenele Romane, also at Teenage Engineering Superbooth party ( Berlin) and played in clubs like Guest House, Control . Their work has also been featured on Radio in Helsinki the city they performed later and Obskur Radio (Canada). Inspired by artists such as The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Autechre, EVE+POL’s sound moves fluidly between subgenres, shaped in real time through hardware instruments, synthesizers, and expressive vocals, with live performance always at the center.
